"Leadership by Example” 

Mr. Reginald Freeman presently serves as the Fire Chief for Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Marietta, GA. Prior to Lockheed Martin Aeronautics; Mr. Freeman worked for WSI Fire & Emergency Services – Iraq as a civilian Fire Chief for 4 years. With more than 700 firefighters and nearly 25,000 calls per year, Mr. Freeman served in a position of authority with an international fire department. He has worked in a number of capacities in his fire service career such as Firefighter, Emergency Medical Technician, Fire Captain, Fire Service Instructor, Assistant Fire Chief, and Fire Chief.

Mr. Freeman’s educational accomplishments include a Bachelor of Arts in Leadership from Bellevue University in Bellevue, NE. He earned his Masters Degree in Executive Fire Service Leadership from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ and he is currently a Doctoral student pursuing a Degree in Organizational Leadership. Mr. Freeman is also currently entering his third year in the National Fire Academy’s Executive Fire Officer Program in Emmitsburg, Maryland. Professional credentials include “Member” status with the Institute of Fire Engineers as well as receiving distinguished designation from the Center for Public Safety Excellence as a Chief Fire Officer.  

Mr. Freeman is a sought after International speaker and currently holds memberships to several professional public safety associations. Furthermore, Mr. Freeman currently is a member of the Technical Committee for NFPA 1021 (Fire Officer Professional Qualifications), as well as serves on the website committee for the Safety, Health, & Survival section of the International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC) and the Fire Rescue International Program Planning Committee for the IAFC, respectively.
